Tapes is Lost In Music

Tapes is playing two shows in Tampere as a part of Lost In Music -festival. Gigs are at Artturi on Thursday 23th and at Paapan Kapakka on Saturday 25th. Remember that there is also an in-store gig on Saturday 25th at Hard Beat clothing store. Whoa. So it's going to be a solo act. I'm trying to figure out something special for those gigs. It's been a while since the last solo show. Oh, and compensatory gig for the cancelled gig at Telakka is going to be on December 6th. It's Janne Laurila's 30th birthday and then there was this other party I've totally forgotten...

Tapes On The Radio

Tapes is talking about the new album and other important stuff at Ylex on Wednesday this week. Interview starts around 19.10 and the program is called X-Ryhmä. Listen if you can!

It's out there

Howdy!! 

Tapes "Aloha!" is now released and we've played couple of great gigs. Thank you Handsome Furs for all the great stuff!! There is still many shows to play and we are selling records and T-shirts there. Check us OUT!! You can also order T-shirts by sending me e-mail

First news

The upcoming Tapes -album is now mastered and it'll be released on September. I'm working with the artwork and all the other stuff and there is still loads to do. I think the album is going to be great and I still like the songs even I've heard them only like 30000000000 times already. Huh! But here is the tracklist and there are two songs on Myspace from the album to listen. Go for it!

I've played all the instruments on the record except drums was banged by my little brother Tommi. Samae Koskinen played bass on one track and there is a nice duet with me and my mate Ville Pirinen. So, all the same dudes doing the same stuff again. But it's nice and we all like it. And I hope you'll like it too.
